Day-1

With the title of this post, anyone can
understand the level of enthusiasm and energy while traveling to this amazing trip. But this
is not the actual reason I gave this name for the article.
4th trimester last day of
exam, everyone came out of room with new energy and passion. Almost no one was
thinking about PJMT paper and suddenly Bhanuja asked solution of one question
and then Sachin who was standing behind said " Eee bhai we are going to Gooaaaa" and we all smiled.
Nishad came to us, he was in very bad mood which was written all over his face said "Fuck ya fuck what did I do, I left 50 marks
questions" and with this he already entered into Nishaadissm mode.
We all said bye to Bhanuja and
came to room quickly because we had train to catch just in one and half hour.
We were sleepless, tired and hungry specially me because I had two subjects.
Yugank said it would be problem for auto if we are move late so Haider decided
to leave as soon as possible. Nishad was still busy with pen and paper deciding
how many marks he left and how many he could have had..... We were ready within an
hour and called for an auto. Downstairs I saw Anushka leaving for Bangalore so I
met her and came running back to auto because Prabhjot and others were fighting
to enter into our auto (Although no one was sure that it was ours…….:P). So
finally we (Me, Haider, Sachin, Nishad, Mohit) were going outside TAPMI (ya i know I am sound like we were in jail, but friends we were)…………and it is..........Goa.
We took Idli and Bada outside
station and came back to platform. Almost half of TAPMI was on the station and
everyone was going to Goa. We all were looking at famous, infamous and
un-famous lovebirds going to Goa and then suddenly Sachin spoke about level of
base they would reach in Goa. Till now Nishad was silent and listening music
with earphone, perhaps he didn't realized that he was singing loudly during
snacks outside station and I was looking at him stunned……………. As soon as he heard about Sachin speaking about bases he became alive again and then we all started talking
about everyone. Who is going with whom and who is looking hot.
We met Alpa and Jyoti at station
and went left most side of the platform because we were going in general class.
Sachin was little conscious about general class and we were like it’s our daily
routine. Luckily we got empty compartments and sat freely and relaxed. We talk
all the way till reaching Goa.
Almost 10:30 PM with half an hour
delay we reached Goa and then Tejas said welcome to Goa (It was his hometown). We all decided to take
scooty instead of hiring a car to reach Calangute. With some negotiation on price, there was our three beautiful scooty in our hand and we started our go…go…go....goa journey @11:30 after saying
hello to Alpa and Jyoti outside station.
The Night we will never forget
After going around 15 KM from
Madgaon. Police caught scooty which Sachin and Mohit were driving , I left my scooty to Haider and came back
walking (to save our scooty of getting caught too) to see what has happened.
Unfortunately his papers were expired for last few month and police was in mood
of kharcha-pani. Daga (who was in car) saw us with police and called me to know if we were okay.
Finally it settled with Rs 200 and we started our go…go…go...goa journey.
After around 35 KM Mohits scooty
stopped, He started again but Scooty was stopping at every 10 meters and speed became not more than
20KM/H. Sachin took in-charge and Mohit came to my carrier but situation didn’t
change. In next 10 minutes we were highly frustrated and annoyed, Sachin said why
the hell we took scooty, we could have hired car to reach Panjim. Haider
scooty was already had starting problem. Haider called scooty owner and as
expected his cell was switched off since we asked him to give 200 back at police
check post. So with no alternative Sachin started his scooty with new energy
and determination. His scooty was so slow that I was starting my scooty only when Sachin was almost a
KM ahead. So we were not just going to Goa we were going and going and going to
Goa. (so now you all can understand the importance of title).
Sachin was driving scooty with
his legs just like movie “Andaaj Apna Apna”. Me and Nishad were talking “yaar
ye Bhanuja ki byke kitni achhi hai na and Nishad said haan yaa uski byke really best hai” and for very first time we gave our respect to her
scooty.
Then suddenly it started to rain (no kidding) and with our racing speed (20KMH), for the first few minutes I was thinking what is the universe trying to tell us. Is our decision to come Goa is a mistake or is this is just coincidence.
With a hope of coincidence we were moving ahead. after few more minutes I realized everyone was enjoying the road and drizzle especially Sachin, still he was driving scooty with his legs only. Mohit on my carrier was singing “thande thande pani se nahana chahiye, gaadi chale ya na chale chalana chahiye”. It was already 2:30 AM, Nishad already suppressed his hunger (I am taking Nishad as an example because if he can suppress his hunger we all can) enjoying smooth road and drizzling then suddenly Daga and his group bypassed us in their car shouting while sitting on the window of the car. I almost fell down. Then again we thought should we have had hired car only.
Sachins scooty took little more speed and we reached Calangut @3:30 AM and I thought thank god it’s over but I didn’t know universe has kept best for last.

Nishad called Shagun (no one had
Ankit number and he had the key of our apartment which was booked already with
Bhanuja contact) and told Ankit is on the beach and coming to his apartment which
is near Pizza Hut. We took one round of calangut but we didn’t find Pizza Hut
and reached the same place we started. Sachin spoke with local person and got
the details to reach target (somehow apartment became our target) and then
suddenly rain started to pound on our head. We waited for almost fifteen
minutes on bus stop and then decided to move in the rain only thinking
Ankit might be waiting for us. We found Pizza Hut (which was closed) and stood
on the little space of the aisle outside Pizza Hut to save our self from rain.
We were already completely wet and then we realized no ones mobile has any battery to contact Ankit. And then I remembered my Nokia 2600 my favorite (I had to say it),
which had no cover (you have to hold battery with your hand to keep the mobile ON) and called Ankit again. He told he has also stopped because of rain and
he will come as soon as rain stops. For almost half an hour rain didn’t stop
and I was thinking is there something worst could happen tonight. Best thing I
saw no one was frustrated or annoyed, everyone was enjoying, making comments (I
should better not give the details after all its Goa) and someone said if aunt
would have had the key she might have called back in worry.
@4 AM finally we saw Ankit &
group coming in hired car so we followed them to apartment. We kept our bag
inside and quickly returned to calangut road to have some food in the same
wet cloth because it was still raining. We reached to Krishna Hotel and sat there,
suddenly we saw two old hag with incomparable makeup and small sexy cloths coming downstairs (sarcastically hotel name was Krishna Hotel) and we
realized what is going on upstairs. Sachin and Mohit started to freak out and
wanted to go somewhere else. I and Haider stopped them because it was already
too late we were hungry than ever and we had only one option except
this. So after some arguments we all settled down and ordered our lunch, dinner
or breakfast whatever you want to call. Waiter was looking at us as he has
never seen hungry people like us before and might be thinking will they be
able to pay the money. I and Sachin had decided that we would drink today a lot
but I took one pack of Gyn which was enough for me for the day and of
course Sachin ordered "Slice". Even at this late there were lot of sexy girls
roaming on their scooty in their small sexy wet cloth and Sachin was perfectly
enjoying the view in fact we all were.
We came back to apartment, I took
bath and Nishad played songs on TV. I don’t remember when I slept and this is
how we started and finished day 1 of our amazing trip go…go…go…Goa.
Day-2
28/01/2016
Morning around 8 AM: I opened my eyes, my head was still aching. I
saw Sachin was sitting on the couch and speaking something, ignoring him I
decided to close my eyes. I don’t know how much time passed but woke up
suddenly by very loud voice “bhai log uth jao, hame ghumne chalna hai”. I just
looked at Sachin and said ‘yaar so ja ek ghante baad uthenge and he literally
went to sleep, only reason I can think of is that he was assured no one’s going
to wake up. After around 45 min he came back with the same dialogue but with
louder voice. As usual Haider wanted to sleep more and Sachin wanted to cover
each and every destination, so suddenly we felt some heat and we understood, we
have to wake up now. Nishad started to make list of the famous places which
needed to check out in two days. I checked the distance on my Ipad and as usual
internet on the ipad was not working (this is one of the time where I hate
apple ios because if android was catching 3G signal why can’t ios) well at last
I had to use my mobile internet to connect ipad and marked all the places on
Map. Meanwhile Sachin and Haider went for scooty repairing and we were getting
ready. Sachin came back with repaired scooty and Haider stayed for parlor
(ofcourse he had to fix his hair after last night)……. After some time Haider
called and told his scooty is not starting again, (and here we thought today is
gonna be different) so Mohit went to help him. After some time we were ready to
start our new improved and planned journey with the discussion should we have
the breakfast first and Mohit reminded about the fried rice and chilli paneer
we took parcel in the night. We all ate it like it was the last meal of the day
and moved for Aguara Fort.
I saw Jyoti and Alpa going
opposite to our destination, I gave Hi five in the air. (I am taking about
jyoti because alpa was driving, so guys don’t put your mind). Best part of
Aguara fort was photography. Nishad was full enthusiastic about taking pictures
with all different pose possible and Sachin was like a south superstar giving
every pose possible. We took the pictures by keeping ‘Dil chahta hai, Hum saath
saath hai, Gambler, Veerana and Tanhaai’ in our mind and also posted on Facebook.
Our next destination was Arambol
beach 30 KM from fort. Nishad selected this beach because this was supposed to
be ‘bikini beach with number of foreigners’, which actually was totally
opposite from what we expected. We had less petrol in our scooty and whole 30
KM we were trying to find petrol pump, which we found in the last only. Really
thankful to god that our usual activity of bringing petrol in bottle, didn’t
happen. But this day was supposed to be better and it was at least till now. Me
and Haider reached Arambol beach easily but Sachin Mohit and Nishad lost their
way and came after some time. On the beach we saw Sahil and Prabhjot enjoying
snacks and bear. I took two bear for me and Sachin and then started talking
about what we did till yesterday with their team, they also suggested some places
which were supposed to be visited in Goa compulsorily.
And now starts Sahils selfiee
photography session on the beach which seemed like never gonna end. Me and
Nishad were sitting near the bar and I wanted to include my face in those
selfee so I played opposite psychology game with Nishad and told him to go for
the pics and I’ll order food “alone” (I used this word on purpose) as expected
he told me to go for the pics. We also used our hats which we took at Aguara
Fort in the photography session. After some time we found many other Tapmians
enjoying their life forgetting quiz, assignment, exam, fas, Girl&friends.
Sand was black and wave was low
but still it’s always nostalgic and refreshing listening to the sound waves. We
enjoyed the beach almost whole day even though we found rare sight of
foreigners.
We came back to room and after
little refreshment we moved to BAGA lane, of which we heard so much about, and it
wasn’t wrong. Lane was full of energy and lighting and youngsters. We thought
of going Titos and after some time we were on the beach with the universal
dilemma of single boys, since it was very costly for us SINGLES. This was the
only time when we thought, well at least I thought there should be girls in the
group but I am saying it again it was the ONLY time. Sahil and Prabhjot were
trying to contact us but we wanted to be within ourselves only, so we ignored
them and the fun night started. Beach was so peaceful, restaurants had separate
tables with a dim lamp, which was looking very beautiful in the night. We also
booked one closest to beach, ordered hukka & bear and started sensible and
nonsensible talk. I told everyone that I never get drunk and before I realized it,
hukka and bear was getting mixed up for me but I perfectly remember the tassan
(style) in which Nishad was taking hukka, well that he always do and everyone
knows too. After two or three hour Haider, Mohit & I started taking a walk
on the beach. Sachin was drunk so he and Nishad were left on the table. I think
both thought since I am drunk they can get some secret out of me but as usual
they were disappointed so Haider started to tease Mohit. One of the few
question I will share here was “what will you do on your first night, will you
do it or not”. They both thought I am too drunk to remember but unfortunately I
remember all the talk and same type of questions went to me and Haider too. I
was getting so dizzy I told them to sit and I laid on the beach then and there.
After few minutes they both wanted to go back but I was feeling very dizzy, I
knew I’ll puke if I would walk but still they took me. Somehow I managed till
there and then someone said to go for dinner (it was already past 3AM), which
my body couldn’t take it and I puked. It took some time to clear all the
expensive gas and water from my stomach and then I and Haider went to bar of
the beach to clean myself up. All the restaurant were closed and we wanted to
go not so costly hotel. After moving around, we found one, had dinner and I was
silent whole time (which happens to me after having drink and today was
special). After some food in my stomach I noticed they were trying to taunt me
for the statement I said earlier that I never get drunk, I smiled. Then we took
our ride and started moving towards our room. Road was empty, air was cold and
all this environment was giving chill sensation within us.
So this the end of day two. But
before I end it, I should mention here one chat which happened with Bhanuja and
became shocking for us on day three.
On the way of returning from
Arambol beach we were telling ours trip stories on the group to Bhanuja
thinking she is at home and we will make her jealous. After few chat she said
we all could get surprised tomorrow. We thought she might be returning early and
coming Goa tomorrow. At least that’s what I thought but the truth was more
shocking.
Day-3
We woke up and listed out
remaining places had to be visited. No need to tell the same morning drama
which happened yesterday but today it was little less intense, so I am cutting
it out. We started to move to a famous old Church, had breakfast in the middle
of the way. Pao (bread) was very amazing at that small place, I am sure
everybody remembers that and then as expected Nishad got call from Bhanuja that
she is coming and she will meet us at the same Church. Coming Bhanuja to Goa
was expected but coming directly to church wasn’t.
We were inside church looking all
architecture and picture and there she was with same usual over-smile on face
and showing white teeth, interrupting our boy’s trip. Truth was everyone was
happy seeing her, also today was last day so her interruption wouldn’t matter. Surprisingly
she was toned as if she has been to beach already and it was true. She told the
whole story of coming Goa with her sister and her boyfriend in secret and not
telling anyone not even anyone in this group (as far as I know). We took some
pictures in the church and surprisingly few of the picture were one of the best
picture of our time. Bhanuja and Haider were fighting for fake RayBan glasses
(of course in picture it doesn’t matter). Bhanuja was so involved with
photography that she left her mobile somewhere and forgot about it. When she
realized about it and she made a fuss out of it which was obvious. After searching
lot of places and tried lot of options like filling balance in mobile (YES, her
mobile had no balance) and calling. She even reached to deleting all the data
from mobile. Haider and sachin went to ask reception and guard thinking the person
who took it, might be generous. And yes Bhanuja is always lucky when it comes
to gifted items, they found it and made a little prank to her of finding the
mobile but if she wants it back, she has to wait for a day (which wasn’t an
option thinking about the rules of college). Finally she got it and we moved to
Calangute beach happily. I and Haider were on a Scooty and with our unfortunate
luck, petrol was over in the middle of road. Which was not new for us.
Luckily petrol pump was nearby and like an experienced player I took lift, purchased
one water bottle (drank until water came up to my neck) and took petrol.
On the beach we went to bar,
someone bought Cigar, ordered bear, Vodka and fries (everyone had their own
requirements). Bar took so much time that everyone got irritated but luckily we
had Cigar which was first time for each one of us. We were laughing the way
Bhanuja was trying to pull it and everyone was trying to show her how to do it.
Sachin and I wanted to go in the sea. Mohit started to give sassy boy picture
and then Alpa called asking everyone is okay. I heard Bhanuja saying that
should she tell Alpa, so I started to tell her about Bhanuja, but suddenly
Bhanuja stopped me and told me not to. (Alpa if you are reading this- I am
saying it again “Bhanuja stopped me and told me not to tell”…). So we didn’t
tell Alpa about her which became little funnnnnnnnnn later.
We left for Baga beach now. We
were going to sea and as usual Bhanuja started to show her Nakhre, she said she
won’t go. Haider took some wet sand and threw it on her. With the help of
little alcohol in our system and music in the bar, this half an hour in the sea
became one of the best amazing time spent. We were dancing in the water
enjoying the song. Bhanuja was acting drunk and trying to scare us going
furthest as possible. Needless to remind the fight between Bhanuja and Mohit
over who is KIDDO.
We went back to our room,
refreshed and packed our bag for return. Everyone was hungry so we came back to
beach, had dinner and moved to Madgaon station. At the start I was showing
everyone the way to Madgaon with google map, but in the last everyone was at
station except me and Mohit (we lost our way). Somehow we managed to come to
station with help of Mohit strong will (my mobile was switched off and I didn’t
knew where I was driving to, but Mohit’s strong will power was telling “Are koi
nahi Saurabh chalte chalo pahuch jaenge”). At one point of time I was getting
irritated but in the last I was thankful to him keeping my cool.
In the last finishing all the
drama of byke owner we went to station on the platform. Bhanuja wasn’t feeling
well. On the station everyone was surprised to see her and was trying to speak
with her but she was sleeping. Since we had general ticket we thought of taking
help of Alpa. I have always seen Alpa as cool and composed girl never thought
today is the day I am going to see her other side, dark side, very very dark
side.
Haider and I went to tell her
that Bhanuja is here and she is not feeling well. She was surprised and happy
which was obvious at first and came with us to see her. Alpa thought Bhanuja
just came to Station from her home but when she learned that she was here with
us whole day she became different. I am perfectly sure she wasn’t Alpa. I
thought of teasing her and then she shouted CHHHHHOOOOOPPPPPPPP showing one
finger to me. Yes this particular word was this lengthy in actual. Then Haider
tried and got the same response. Surprisingly she was very calm with Bhanuja
like we were the bad guys and she was the victim, which in actual it was
opposite.
There is one particular act in
our group which I used to hate in the college but today I laugh remembering,
everyone tries to repeat same bad act, statement or behavior of the person who
is angry until that person get that anger out of his system. This has happened
to everyone and same happened with Alpa on this particular word
CHHHHHHOOOOOPPP. Everyone got stick to this word and we laughed so much after
this. I am sure this laugh included Alpa too.
Okay Okay guys don’t forget the
point, who is the culprit here ……………BHA….NU…JA not us. Alpuuuu not us.
On the train we slept on each
other (I mean literally on each other, especially Tejas and Haider) as if train
berth is our bedroom. It was good that
Bhanuja got fever, I can think of three reason first we got to see the hidden
Alpa, second in general compartment people was selling and buying alcohol like
water, environment was not good and third if something would have happened to
her we would still be sleeping (we were really tired)……. :P. Kidding….. It was
really fun with you Bhanuja (but it’s good that you came only on last day not
interrupting our boys trip….: P) and with you too Alpa for this unforgettable
day.
…………………………..So guys this is where
our Go……Go…….Go…..Goa Story comes to end….. If I have forgotten any moment you
can comment here because this story is only from my side with little memory I
have.
I love you guys…………….. Miss you
all. Hope to meet you all soon………….. Please don’t try to correct my grammar.
………………………………………………Thank you……………………………………………
